From the very first game, each Pokémon title has encouraged its players to complete that game’s Pokédex by capturing as many small craters as possible. Starting with 151 in the first two versions of the game, it was not an easy task from the start. However, the game added another layer of challenge to very special – and hard-to-catch Pokémon called Legendary Pokémon. These extra-powerful, rare and hard-to-find creatures are some of the most satisfying to track down and add to your roster. This is assuming you are definitely able to.
There are a total of 30 Legendary and Legendary Pokémon according to the Pokédex. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining PearlHowever, not everyone can be caught on one version of the game. As is the tradition with the Pokémon series, there are special monsters for each version, and this applies to legends as well. Most legendary Pokémon can be found in any version of the game and will be hidden either around the overworld, underground, or in the Ramnas Park area, which is new. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Ramnas Park is where all the version-exclusive Legendary Pokémon will be found and can only be accessed after beating the main game.
Our first is the Legendary Mesprit. This Pokémon can be found in Lake Variety, where you start the game. Once you defeat the Elite Four, this area will open, and you can find Mesprit at this location inside the cave. You’ll interact with it first, which counts as logging it into your Pokedex, but runs away. For a chance to actually catch it, you’ll need to track it a second time using the Marking Map app in your Pokétack.
From one lake to another, Uxi is found in Aquiti Lake, another new location that opens up after the Elite Four. Like Mesprit, interact with it inside the cave so that it can move around on the map, and use the marking map for your chance to capture it.
Our final lakeside Pokémon, at least for now, is Azelf near Lake Valor. You know the drill at this point. Defeat the Elite Four, head to the new location, cave in so he can escape, and then hunt him down with your Pokétack.
Changing things up a bit, once the story is beaten, you’ll be able to go to the battle zone in the battle zone. To collect the National Pokédex, go here first. Once you’ve got it, get to Canalew City and find Sailor Aldrich’s home. Inside you will see that some children are having nightmares. Outside, the sailor Aldrich will explain that he has lost his will to row his boat because of his child’s illness and will ask you to go to Fullmoon Island to obtain a special wing that can wake up his son. With the National Pokédex in hand, a new secret area will be unlocked on the right side of Route 214. Once you find and enter the sendoff spring, travel until you hit the turnback cave, but don’t turn back just yet. Here’s a little puzzle that you have to solve by reading the pillars in the rooms to navigate a randomly generated cave. To reach the center room with Giratina, you need to reach the target within 30 moves. The numbers are your clue as to which direction to go and should be treated as directions, like the face of a clock. For example, if the number of a column is 12, it would represent the answer or above; Nine would be west.
The only way to get Manaphy is through the Mystery Gift feature Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. To access this feature, which gives you exclusive gifts from developers and things like that, head to Jubilee City and head to the TV station. On the third floor, you need to speak to the TV manufacturer who will ask you to choose one of the various programs they want to improve. just choose Happy wifi connection to all Option to unlock mystery gift function in your menu.
Once you have that, open the Mystery Gift option and select get via internet To automatically get a Manaphy egg that you can catch. Hurry up, because it’ll only be available until February 21!
Jirachi is a fan-favorite Legendary Pokémon and it is very easy to obtain, assuming you are a fan of Pokémon. The only way to get to it is to find and talk to an old man in a flower field at the southern corner of Florama Town. However, he will assign this rare creature only if you have saved data from either of the two on your console pokemon sword Or Pokemon Shield. If you do, it’s yours, but if not, you’re out of luck finding someone to do business with in real life or online.
Ramnas Park is a major new area that opens up after you collect your National Pokedex. It’s home to a ton of legendary Pokémon, but obviously can’t be reached until the final game after you’ve won the Pokémon League and completed the Sinnoh Pokédex. Once all of those requirements are met, head to the park and pick up the Discovery Slate from the counter at the entrance for three smaller mystics or one larger one. Use this slate on the pedestal, and Regirock will appear inside the Discovery Room for you to fight and hold.
Perhaps the most famous of all the Legendary Pokémon, Mewtwo will not appear for any trainer. Not only do you need to do everything necessary to get the National Pokedex, but you also need to grab at least eight other Legendaries, as well as the right slate, to persuade it to appear. Slate is the easy part, all you need is Gnome Slate, which you can trade Mysterious Shards for. After that, you’ll also need to capture three Legendary Titans, including Latios, Latias, and any of the three Legendary Beasts if you’re playing pokemon brilliant diamond, or one of the three mythical birds pokemon shining pearl, All of which are covered in their respective sections in this guide.
With everyone taken care of, bring the Gnome Slate into the Gnome Room, place it on the pedestal, and Mewtwo will appear to battle. Make sure you’re prepared, as this psychic Pokémon is as dangerous as ever.
Kyogre, despite not being at the same level of notoriety as Mewtwo, has similar unlock requirements. You need to have the National Pokédex and have caught one of Latias, Latios, and either mythical animals or birds, depending on your version of the game. This time, you’ll have to trade in Ramnas Park for the Oceanic Slate and use it on the pedestal in the Ocean Room which you can find by surfing the cave entrance to the northeast of the Discovery Room. He’s a tough catch, but a strong legend to add to your team.
Acquiring a Phione is a unique process compared to other legendary and legendary Pokémon. Instead of holding it, you need to build it. You’ll do this by keeping a manafi and a ditto together at the daycare center (located in Solaceion Town) until they breed. The resulting egg, once hatched, will produce your own Phione.
Get yourself the National Pokédex and then head back to Ramnas Park. This time, you want to trade in for the Discovery Slate and bring it to the Discovery Room. Place it on the pedestal, and Regis will spawn for you to add to your collection.
Latias will not appear unless you have the National Pokédex and have already captured the three Legendary Titans inside Ramnas Park. Once you have, take yourself a Soul Slate from the entrance, and take it to the Soul Room. Drop it down in the usual place, and Latias will be seen leading you.
Groudon is another Legendary that has a lot of requirements. Like Mewtwo, you need the National Pokédex, all three Legendary Titans, Latios, Latias, and either all three Legendary Beasts, if you have them. brilliant diamond or all three legend birds on shining pearl, Once you’ve completed all that, grab yourself a tectonic slate from the Rumnance Park counter, make your way into the Tectonic Room, and summon Groudon to the pedestal.
If Mewtwo isn’t the most iconic Legendary Pokémon, then Mew will be the one to run for that position. However, on the contrary…
