Amazon Prime subscribers get an exclusive sneak peek at The Lord of the Rings

As part of an annual promotion main day shopping event, Prime members received an exclusive 60-second preview of the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. The preview was released today, July 6th and will only be available for viewing for 48 hours.

The only way to see the exclusive clip is to sign in with an active Prime account. The company hopes fans will sign up to take advantage of this opportunity.

Amazon is also surprising 20 Prime members from around the world this week with an invitation to attend the global premiere in London in August.

While Amazon has offered entertainment-related Prime Day deals before, such as a discounted Prime channel subscription, this time around, it’s helping to promote new Prime subscriptions and, of course, sell more merchandise.

“Being the first to watch a sneak peek of one of the most anticipated shows of 2022 or order your favorite takeaway while watching a football match on TV that you bought at a great price is Prime’s promise,” said Jameel Ghani. Vice President, Amazon Prime in a statement.

Other promotions associated with the Prime Day event include up to 45% discounts on home entertainment devices such as Fire TV, as well as 50% to 58% discounts on Fire TV streaming products to promote Amazon Prime Video’s first exclusive “Thursday Night”. Football” September 15. The NFL Fan Shop will also have discounts on licensed fan gear.

The biggest deal unveiled today was arguably free annual subscription on GrubHub+ for Prime members, once again demonstrating their strategy to tie offerings to their core retail business.

Prime members can also stream “Ultimate Crown” on Prime Video and Amazon-owned Twitch to see MrBeast and Ninja face off in “League of Legends” on July 7th. Members will receive exclusive experiences from this event, such as the opportunity to attend the event in person or participate in live chats to win gift subscriptions and gifts.
