Animal Crossing New Horizons Sunrise

This is the third update since the release of happy home paradise DLC and fourth overall update in November. In most cases the update will be installed automatically. But, to double-check, players can go into System Settings on their Switch, select Data Management, then Manage Software, and finally select. Animal Crossing: New Horizons To see the version listed. This patch is version 2.0.

The exploit in question can be used as long as players do not install the latest update. As it stands, there’s not much reason not to install the update since there’s no new content and nothing game-breaking that’s been resolved. The bug in question can be accessed by accessing the Room Sketch app that can be installed on the player’s Nook phone. Once the app is open, place stuff on the wall where the windows should be and then enable windows for the room. This “tricks” the game into thinking that the items are actually placed on the wall, and not just in the app. With Windows enabled, it will effectively return said items to the player after duplicating them.

It seemed unusual for Nintendo to release another patch so quickly, but considering what it fixes, it’s understandable why they’d pull it out. Something like this could throw an island’s economy out of line. While there will be no impact on other players if one or more decided to take advantage of it, it goes against the nature of the game. Nintendo isn’t the only one increasingly cracking down on such exploits. Ultimately, it could hurt the game’s long-term viability if players suddenly grow out of debt to Tom Nook, the resident tanooki in-charge. This is something that partly caused the early player decline prior to Patch 2.0 Happy Homes Paradise DLC hits, rekindling player interest Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Good or bad, the update is now live and available for download.
