Apex Legends Already nearing the end of season 10. Season 10 brought a considerable amount of content to the game, after introducing the new playable Legends Seer, a new battle pass, and several changes to World’s Edge. The developers aren’t done, however, as there’s even more content coming this season. Recently, the studio announced a gruesome new event, giving Halloween fans a reason to jump back into the game.
Earlier today, the developers revealed the monsters within the event. basically leaked Apex Legends This announcement from Dataminers, Respawn, confirmed rumors that the developer had planned a Halloween-themed event for the game. Starting October 12th and running through November 2nd, players will have 3 weeks to check out the Halloween event’s many new features.
Featured in a trailer and a blog post on Apex Legends website, fans got a glimpse of many of the 40 new cosmetics coming to the Monsters In event. Some of the highlights include new Legendary Skins that will be available through crafting or purchasing Apex Packs. Some of the Legends receiving Halloween-themed makeovers include the Revenant, Bloodhound, Caustic, and Seer. In addition to these skins, the program includes many scary weapon skins with banners and holosray for Halloween.
One interesting thing about cosmetics is that special items from the event are available in Monsters in packs as well as in regular Apex packs. In addition, these Halloween-themed items will continue to be part of the standard Apex Pack loot pool even after the end of the event. Additionally, the Monsters in Event includes a rewards tracker that rewards Apex Packs and other items during the festivities. Beyond these upcoming cosmetics, players will have the chance to pick up classic skins from past Halloween events from the in-game store.
In addition to these new cosmetics, a new map called Encore is being added to the 3v3 Elimination Arenas mode. Set on the homeworld of Seer, Boreas, this map shows the stage of the performance against the backdrop of a desert. The developers noted that the map’s design features a more open layout, forcing players to have a “stronger environmental awareness”.
In addition to the new content coming to the game, the developers announced the return of the Shadow Royale mode. This mode puts an interesting spin on the battle royale formula by turning off the lights on King’s Canyon, allowing players to fight through the night while fending off attacks from live and shadow-form enemies.
News about this upcoming event comes shortly after the Evolution Collection event caused server issues for many people Apex Legends Players, even prompting the developers to expand Season 10’s first ranked split. Hopefully, this new Monsters In event turns out to be a lot easier.
