Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is reportedly getting a “God of War-style” DLC expansion.

The new claims come from Battlefield and Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson, this time turning his attention to Ubisoft’s massive Viking RPG. Henderson claims, as you can see in the tweet below, that a major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is in development, possibly a reveal at The Game Awards later this week.

Additionally, Henderson claims that this upcoming expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will offer users at least 40 hours of new gameplay. If that’s correct, it makes the new expansion far bigger than Wrath of the Druids and Siege of Paris, the last two DLC expansions for Valhalla, which launched earlier this year.

This is hardly the first time we’ve heard of a brand new DLC expansion for Ubisoft’s game. A few months ago in October, dataminers managed to uncover something called “Dawn of Ragnarok” belonging to Valhalla. Many believed it was the rumored third major expansion title for the RPG, but this has never been confirmed or denied by Ubisoft.

Maybe we’ll have to wait and see what The Game Awards brings to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla this weekend. The annual festival kicks off in LA in just a few days from December 9th, and this time around, it’ll have an actual show floor with a variety of industry guests.
