It features the latest developments from Qualcomm. Snapdragon 8+ 1st Gen SoC, which offers higher CPU and GPU clock speeds than the non-plus variant. It should also be more efficient thanks to TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process.

The standard ROG Phone 6 has up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, while the Pro version has a whopping 18GB of RAM (but the same amount of storage). The Pro also gets a tiny secondary display on the back for displaying notifications or animations, while the vanilla variant only has RGB decorative elements.

The backlight is powered by a 6000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The phone has two USB-C ports – one on the bottom and one on the side – so you can easily charge your phone while playing games in landscape mode.

You can pre-order Asus’ new gaming phones today in the UK, Europe and Taiwan, though the company hasn’t mentioned when they’ll start shipping. Phone 6 starts from 999 euros, and Pro version costs a whopping 1299 euros.
