Best iPhone: Which iPhone Should You Buy Today?
More expensive than the iPhone 11, the iPhone 12 makes up for that price increase with new features that should prove useful in the months and years to come.
This includes future-proofing courtesy of 5G support and the addition of MagSafe connectivity that enables you to connect things like a charger or case to your phone.
The camera may be the same as last year’s iPhone and battery life is just fine, but there’s no denying that the iPhone 12 is a better beast than the phones that came before.
Design-wise, it’s back in some styles of the iPhone 4 or 5 and that’s a really good thing, feeling comfortable in your hands. There’s also the overdue switch to a color OLED display which again reminds us that Apple knows how to make a stylish looking as well as future-proof device.

Apple introduced an iPhone mini for the first time in its history of handset making, and it’s almost like the iPhone you just read about above but it’s smaller.
There are several small distinguishing differences – for example, wireless charging is noticeably slower on the iPhone 12 Mini – but otherwise you’re getting top-end specs like a powerful rear camera, 5G support, and MagSafe support.
The design makes this phone easy to hold in one hand, so if you’re crying out for a smaller iPhone that doesn’t lose the top-end specs you get from other Apple devices, this might be the one for you.
Like the iPhone 12, this handset also has a great display. You may not enjoy the battery life as great as it is on the iPhone 12 mini, but if that is your main focus then you will love one of the phones below.

More advanced than the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12 Pro is also more expensive and has better specs than the standard model. The interiors are better, and there’s a better camera.
A fourth sensor with the standard iPhone 12 fares as a LiDAR scanner, making it easy for the iPhone to see what it’s looking at, while doing a great job of detecting faces in low-light situations.
The iPhone 12 Pro also has a RAM boost – from 4GB to 6GB – and it’s sure to make the most of what you’re doing on your phone. If you want to edit videos on your phone, then iPhone 12 Pro is ideal for such purpose.
Elsewhere, it’s business as usual for the iPhone 12 Pro that already offers a lot for less than the iPhone 12, but if you want that extra oomph, it’s an impressive upgrade. for one price.

After the best iPhone that money can buy? The iPhone 12 Pro Max is exactly that, and we love everything it can do. It takes a lot that makes up the three phones you can read above and just changes a few elements to make it even better.
So why is it so low on our best iPhones list? It is an expensive handset, and the sheer size of this handset means it will not be for everyone.
If you’re happy to spend money on it, and you want a phone with a huge 6.7-inch screen, you’ll be happy to have the iPhone 12 Pro Max in your pocket. Everything we’ve said about the iPhone 12 Pro is true here, but there are some benefits.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max has better battery life than the other iPhones on this list, and you’ll also find that it has a slightly more powerful rear camera than the iPhone 12 Pro.
If you want the best, you have to pay for it. If you’re happy, this is the best iPhone for you right now.

The iPhone 11 isn’t the highest-spec Apple phone, but it beats the iPhone XR ‘budget flagship’ in terms of better value to become the standout phone of its generation.
Before the introduction of the iPhone 12, this was our favorite iPhone. True, it misses out on a telephoto lens, but as we found with the Samsung Galaxy S10e, a pairing of the main and ultrawide lens covers most photo needs.
While it doesn’t have an OLED display, its LCD screen at least allows the phone to retain its best-in-generation battery life crown. And it also gets a bit more RAM – up to 4GB from its predecessor’s 3GB.
Add in iOS 14 and all the new changes coming to the iPhone 11 series and this phone is one lean, mean, photo-taking machine.

Unveiled in April 2020, the new iPhone SE may look like the old iPhone, but it comes with a lot of benefits compared to the rest of the range. The main reason you might want to buy this is because it’s the cheapest iPhone you can buy from Apple right now.
It comes with a similar design to the iPhone 8, but it has upgraded internals like the A13 Bionic chipset that we’ve seen powering the three phones above you in this list.
It also comes with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, which is something we haven’t seen on recent iPhones. The camera on this phone is good, but it won’t compete with the very top iPhones and also has average battery life.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the devices that you have read about above then you will love the iPhone SE.
