Black Friday is the perfect time to grab an iRobot Roomba robot vacuum cleaner, with expect big savings on the entire range from the entry-level 980 to the top-end S9+. You’ll also find iRobot’s Brava mopping robot and sometimes bundles that include both.
Black Friday Lands This Year 26 NovemberAnd that’s when we’re hoping to start landing the best Roomba deals, but it’s still possible to snag a great deal if you can’t wait. Many stores start their Black Friday sales early (sometimes even extend them throughout November) and we’ll round up all the great introductory offers right here.
However, you may have to wait a while for your new Roomba to be delivered, and stock may be limited. Like so many electronics makers, recent Roomba fits have been plagued by chip shortages and shipping problems, and back in July, CEO Colin Angle explained that the company had been unable to meet $17 million in orders. When you’re ordering, be sure to check estimated shipping dates on the retailer’s website to find out where you can expect your Roomba to arrive.

Best Buy had several more good prices for Roombass in early November, but they’ve since been raised again. We’re hopeful they’ll have another big price drop as Black Friday approaches.
iRobot Roomba J7+:
$849.99 $699 on Amazon
Save $150.99 This pet-focused Roomba is down from $699.99 at Best Buy right now, but Amazon is a little cheaper. The J7+ avoids cords, and won’t accidentally track your pet’s feces onto your floor.
iRobot Roomba S9+:
$1,099.99 $949.99 on Amazon
Save $350.99 Best Buy has slashed the price of iRobot’s top-end robot vacuum to $949.99, but Amazon has shaved off a few extra cents. When we tested it, we were particularly impressed with the way it accurately maps out your home and gets deep into corners.
iRobot Roomba i7+:
$799.99 $599.99 at Best Buy
save $200 Best Buy beats Amazon with this impressive deal on the self-emptying Roomba i7+. No need to keep cleaning the bin, it can be a real game-changer for you at home.
iRobot Roomba 692040:
£269 £199.99 on Amazon
Save £69.01 – It’s a limited time deal from Amazon, and the cheapest we’ve ever seen of this particular Roomba. It’s an entry-level model, but still supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, with three-step cleaning for all floor surfaces.
iRobot Roomba Combo 111840:
£349.99 £279 on Amazon
Save £70.99 – This Roomba is capable of both vacuuming and mopping, so it’s suitable for all your floors. It usually hovers around the £300 mark, so it’s a respectable deal before Black Friday.
iRobot Roomba i3 Robot Vacuum:
£449.99 £349.99 on Amazon
Save £100 – Amazon is offering 22% off iRobot’s most affordable vacuum cleaner, which travels in neat rows while cleaning your floors to make sure it’s more efficient. It’s not as smart as the i7 (above), as it doesn’t offer the ability to set no-go zones where the RoboVac won’t clean. However, it’s still great value for money, and that discount takes it to a record-low price.
iRobot Roomba i7 Robot Vacuum:
£599.99 £479.99 on Amazon
Save £120 – Amazon has also given a 20% discount on the price of the Roomba i7. It’s not as smart as it’s new sibling, but on testing this robot vacuum proved efficient at removing dust and dander from carpets and hard floors. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve seen for a robot vacuum, which went as low as £434.27 in December 2019. However, it’s still a good deal, and we don’t know how long it will last. It’s not too late to snap.
iRobot Roomba J7 Robot Vacuum:
£699.99 £559.99 on Amazon
Save £140 – Amazon has slashed the price of the Roomba J7 for the first time since its September launch this year, reducing it by 20% off the list price. This is the brand’s most state-of-the-art robot vacuum, which has the ability to detect obstacles in its path, be it random charging cables or pet poop, and importantly avoid them. This is the first time a robot vacuum has dropped below its RRP of £699, although the discount only applies to the standard version and not the model that self-empties.

What to expect on Roomba Black Friday
When do the best Black Friday Roomba deals start in 2021?
Black Friday in 2021 will fall on November 26, but many retailers start their deals weeks in advance and they can start popping up any time now. Last year we saw a lot of early deals, and many stuck around long after Cyber Monday (even until December in some cases.
We also saw a lot more discounts online than in physical stores. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which, according to data from Adobe Analytics, led to a more than 50% increase in online sales in 2020 compared to 2019.
We don’t yet know whether this year’s Roomba Black Friday deals will kick off early, but our money is on retailers who want to space their offers once again. If so you’ll want to bookmark this page to keep you up to date with all the latest and great deals available on all Roomba robot vacuums this Black Friday.

Which robot vacuums will be discounted for Black Friday?
We expect most brands of vacuum cleaners to be discounted during Black Friday, including Roomba, Dyson and Eufy models. The amount that the prices were cut would depend on how expensive they were, and we imagine that most high-end cleaners would only get a slight price drop.
But, if you’ve been waiting to splash on a new robot vacuum, Black Friday may be your best chance to save on an upgrade, not break the bank.
What should I look for when buying a Roomba on Black Friday?
When buying a Roomba, the two main considerations are run time and capacity. These will tell you how long the robot vacuum can last on a single charge and how much dirt it can pick up before emptying. The longer run time and larger capacity would be best suited to larger homes, while smaller flats and apartments would suit spaces at the lower end.
Mop mode can also come in handy if you have many non-carpeted rooms. These robot vacuums will mop the floor as they pick up dirt, giving your home a much cleaner feeling.
Other smart features can be nice too if you can afford them. Roombas that can self-empty are incredibly handy if you forget to clean them regularly, meanwhile some devices can create smart maps of your home to improve cleaning efficiency.
The 3 Best Roombas to Watch on Black Friday
The iRobot Roomba S9+ really is the best robot vacuum you can buy right now. Its price tag might normally make your eyes water a bit, but with the right Black Friday deals, it’ll be all the more appealing. It’s self-blanking and has five angled sides on its brush that really meet with corners and walls. There’s also a filter for allergy sufferers that captures 99 percent of mold, pollen, and dust mite allergens, and it’s smart too, mapping your home so it knows every nook and cranny.
The Roomba i7+ is on par with its bigger sibling in many ways – it’s smart when it comes to mapping your home, and integrates with Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant. It also uses the same large-capacity dust bag to make sure you’re only removing all the dust and debris it collects every 30 days.
The iRobot Roomba 980 is an older model that first started rolling on floors in 2016, but it’s stood the test of time and is one of the best robot vacuums you can pick up.
