Running news: Michigan resident Kerry Lynn McAtee was arrested Wednesday while parked in a no-parking zone at USCP headquarters near the Capitol, the USCP said in a statement. Statement,

  • “McAtee told our officers that she came here from Michigan and wanted to talk about the information as of January 6, 2021,” the statement said. .
  • Police found two unloaded rifles, a loaded shotgun and a pellet gun and charged McAtee with illegal possession and transportation of a semi-automatic rifle, unregistered ammunition and three other weapons.
  • “At this time, other than speaking to our officers, there is no evidence that the 58-year-old suspect was here to do anything,” the statement said.
