With the Far East’s dangerous creatures fooling around, Emperor Yao will only summon one person: the hero of Titan Quest, who’s great at killing any and all troublesome mythical beasts you can find. Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition’s fourth expansion is called Eternal Embers, and it’s out now. Here is your official description:

“Action-RPG Titan Quest is getting a new expansion! In Eternal Embers, players will venture into the mystical realms of the Far East. Legendary entities from Asian mythology such as the Jade Emperor, the Ten Sons and the Dragon King of the Four Seas.” are part of an epic story, containing four new tasks. More than 30 different types of enemies and bosses stand in the way of the player and a new mastery becomes available. With the mythical powers of ancient diagnostic masters, the blessings of the gods, And the will of the ancient emperors, all the power is at the fingertips of the player.”

Sure, it’s a 15-year-old game, with the original Titan Quest released in 2006, but the apparently beloved action RPG has gotten three expansions since its anniversary edition revival in 2016. First taking the hero to Ragnarok, then Atlantis and now back to China. (In case you forgot, you go to China in the final bits of the original Titan Quest.)

I’m honestly interested in what kind of crap the designers did with Needle Alchemy. Can you make powerful potions? Breathe out to fly? Become a strange pseudo-immortal? I won’t lie to you, I want to go full Wuxia on some ancient Greek and Egyptian baddies.
