Denzel Washington will return for The Equalizer 3

Equalizer 3 is in the works, with Denzel Washington returning to star.

The films, inspired by the ’80s TV series of the same name, follow Washington’s character Robert McCall, a man with a mysterious past—once a Marine, he faked his death to resume but a Finished drawing on his skills for defense. The young prostitute named Teri (Chloe Grace Moretz) in The Equalizer. In the sequel, he sets out to avenge the death of a friend and former colleague. Both films were directed by Antoine Fuqua.

“He wrote the third equalizer, so I’m gonna do that,” said Washington. collider, “So I have to get in shape and start hitting people again. I have to beat people again. The tragedy of Macbeth and then go and kill some people. Can’t get any better, right?”


It is yet to be confirmed whether Fuqua will return to direct a third film, but sources at Collider say that the director is in talks to run the film – and the report said that, the talks are not over. When done, the collider expects Equalizer 3. Fuqua’s next film after release on Apple TV Plus, starring Will Smith.

Washington most recently starred in The Tragedy of Macbeth with Frances McDormand, and from the sound of things, The Equalizer 3 will be her next. 2021 also saw the release of The Little Things, which starred Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto.
