The game is reminiscent of League of Legends, with several characters fighting over objectives in an enclosed setting. But Fair Mania was designed to be a fun experience that everyone in the family can enjoy together. According to Mighty Bear Games during Monday’s demo session, the developers wanted to make the experience as accessible as possible. The short battle sessions (each is about five minutes) and limited character abilities provide a more straightforward experience than other multiplayer online battle arena games.

In addition, Might Bear Games added a social aspect to the game without compromising on security. In order to rally their team or interact with other players, characters can indicate that they need help in battle, or to rally the team. That way, parents don’t have to worry if the kids are playing alone.

“We want to avoid toxicity as much as possible when making the game,” Chevalier said at the session.

Disney Melee Mania doesn’t have a release date yet, but it supports controllers and up to six players. The game will feature special in-app events involving specific characters, where players can earn additional rewards according to Chevalier. In addition, he added that the game focuses on fun characters from Disney and Pixar who aren’t always in the limelight.
