Our video presentation competition is now open to all college and university students. Entry and participation is 100% free – no purchases required to participate in TechCrunch events. Here’s what you need to know and do to compete for a chance to win free tickets – and more – for TechCrunch Disruption in San Francisco October 18-20.

Brief reminder: This is a video-only competition – no one will be pitching Disrupt.

This pitch competition is industry agnostic and we encourage students working in any vertical to apply. While we are happy to consider applications from students with a functioning MVP, the final winners will be student-led startups at the idea stage, with product/market fit, and those identified as scalable.

Applying for the competition is a simple three-step process.

  1. Record a 60 second video of your presentation
  2. Fill out this application and answer a few quick questions about your startup
  3. Submit your application and video

Don’t miss the deadline: You must submit your application by September 9and we will notify participants on September 18th.

Why should you apply for the competition? The art of presentation is an important skill that every startup founder should master, and practice makes perfect. Also, check out the prize package.

TechCrunch will select 20 finalists. All finalists will receive two free tickets to TC Disrupt 2022, two free tickets to any TechCrunch 2023 event, and a Blackstone LaunchPad memento.

The top six finalists will also receive a free three-night stay at a San Francisco hotel during Disrupt 2022. In addition, the top six startups will be featured in a TechCrunch article and receive a mentoring session with Blackstone LaunchPad and Techstars staff.

TechCrunch Disruption will take place live and in person on October 18-20 (with an online day on October 21).
