Disney bundle will cost the same
ESPN Plus monthly and annual subscription costs will begin August 13th, the second price increase for the service in 2021. The new price increase has increased the service’s annual plan by about $20 this year alone.
An ESPN Plus spokesperson confirmed ledge That service would increase from $6 to $7, while the annual cost would increase from $60 to $70. Notably, there will be no increase in price for the Disney bundle, which costs $13 and includes sister services from Disney+ and Hulu. There will also be no change in the price of UFC pay-per-view.
Disney Plus and ESPN Plus have both increased prices in 2021. The sports streaming service’s annual subscription cost rose from $50 in January to $60 per year. The company attributed the recent price hike to increased value for consumers, citing specifically its live sports coverage, original programming, and expanded editorial analysis from industry experts. The service reported having about 14 million subscribers as of April.
Disney’s marquee streaming service, meanwhile, gets a bit pricey in 2021 as well. In March, Disney Plus rose to $8 per month, or $80 annually, arguably still a great value for the quality of the content produced and certainly attributable to the fact that Disney’s new releases generally reach Premiere Access. Come on the service at no extra cost a few months after the launch. Kali Mai, for example, will be free to stream on the service from October 6.
