Horizon Forbidden West borrows one of Breath of the Wild’s best mechanics

Sony showed off 14 minutes of gameplay for the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West Today during a State of Play event, and the protagonist, Alloy, has a ton of new gadgets. Surprisingly, Sony and Guerrilla Games did not reveal the release date of the game, which was originally planned for a 2021 launch.

The surprising omission has led to speculation that it may have been delayed until next year. Since we’re halfway through the year, it makes sense to get a release window for the game if it’s still intended to launch before the end of 2021.

In this new entry, the main character has a grappling hook, a diving mask that allows him to swim underwater, and a glider similar to the one in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

first entry, Horizon Zero Dawn, was launched right around the same time breath of the wild And because of that, many critics and fans couldn’t help comparing the two. After all, both are open-world action games with an emphasis on combat, exploration, and inventory management. One thing fans liked breath of the wild It had a gliding mechanic, which allows players to safely and quickly traverse the map over tall structures. Now, Horizon Forbidden West Will use my version of glider.

Sony reiterated the same thing Horizon Forbidden West Coming to PS4 and PS5 is a PlayStation exclusive. Guerrilla Games did say that more details will emerge later, so it’s likely we’ll get another update later this year.
