Diversity reports that the Fallout TV adaptation at Amazon recruited Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner as co-showrunners. Additionally, the outlet also confirms that executive producer Jonathan Nolan will be stepping down to direct the adaptation’s pilot episode on Amazon.

The credits for the two new showrunners are quite interesting in contrast. Robertson-Dworet has writing credits on the likes of 2018’s Tomb Raider starring Alicia Vikander and 2019’s Captain Marvel, while Wagner has a variety of writing credits on TV comedies, including The Office, Silicon Valley and Basket, among other projects. In between, we suggest can find an intentionally humorous twist on Apocalypse.

All of the above crew members will also serve as producers for the massive Fallout TV series. Nolan, Robertson-Dworet, and Wagner will all executive produce the adaptation, while Westworld’s Lisa Joy and Athena Wickham will round out the crop of executive producers leading the new show.

The Fallout TV series was first announced as a work at Amazon in mid-2020, with Kilter Films announced to produce the series. News has been little about the adaptation since, when Fallout game series director Todd Howard last confirmed in November 2021 that the adaptation was still “moving forward.” Howard is serving as one of two executive producers of the series for Bethesda, in the midst of development of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6.
