Mobile gaming has witnessed a boom in the past decade like never before. This effectively killed the incentive to buy portable gaming devices such as the PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS, because with the blossoming of phone and tablet technology, a new type of mobile gaming emerged, a more passive experience that combines tight, simple gameplay loops. was built on. Overseen by VGC’s Tom Evan, PlayStation has hired Nicola Sebastian to help lead the company’s journey in the mobile market. According to his LinkedIn Experience page, Sebastiani is currently vice president and head of mobile at PlayStation Studios, having joined the company back in July.
