Season 1, Week 4 Quest Guide

Receive headshot damage with a pistol (75)

Aim with a pistol in Fortnite.

It will probably come naturally, but if you want to get over it quickly, we recommend playing in any team-based mode. From there, shoot down an enemy player with your weapon of choice and then finish them off with pistol headshots. It is much easier to line up your shots at a downed player rather than at a player actively dodging his attacks.

Harvest Wood from The Joneses, Shifty Shafts, or Logjam Lumberyard (150)

Logjam Lumberyard in Fortnite.

Next is another easy way: just go to The Joneses, Shifty Shaft, and/or Logjam Lumberyard and chop the wood with your chopping tool. Remember, progress is made in all three areas and does not need to be done in a single match. As the name suggests, Logjam is an excellent source of lumberyard lumber, but it is also a highly competitive area, so be sure to plan carefully when choosing your location.

Explosion of gas cans to destroy objects (2)

Map of gas canisters in Fortnite.

For this challenge, you don’t actually need to damage enemy players or structures with gas cans to earn credits. Instead, simply destroy the gas box to damage two objects around you to complete the challenge. There are plenty of gas canisters around the map, but the best one is the bridge southwest of the shifty shaft, as shown in the map above. There are several canisters in this bridge and if you shoot them, they will destroy everything around them, and since there are so many canisters here, you shouldn’t have any difficulties.

Dancing at Chonker’s Speedway, Rocky Reels and Greasy Grove (3)

Greasy Grove in Fortnite.

This quest is yet another one that requires you to visit several areas, but thankfully it’s not too challenging. We recommend landing at Greasy Grove or Chonker’s Speedway as these are both on the outer edges of the map, and then going to Rocky Reels since they are in the middle. Just remember to make gestures at each of the three spots – despite the challenge description, it’s not a dance. Plus, you don’t have to meet all three in the same match.

Experience the Guzzle Juice Effect for 15 seconds (1)

Ice box map in Fortnite.

The hardest part of this quest is finding Gazelle Juice, which has the potential to spawn from coolers around the map. Keep in mind, Gazelle juice doesn’t have a 100% spawn rate from coolers, but it’s often enough. Use the map above to find all the cool spots (thanks, Once you’ve found one, build a structure and jump over to take damage. The more damage you take, the more you’ll need to heal, which will make Guzzle Juice’s effect last. Thankfully, you don’t need to experience the effects for 15 seconds in a row to complete this challenge.

Deals damage to enemies with Rare or Better Shotgun (400)

Shotgun in Fortnite.

This quest can be a little tricky if you don’t usually use a firearm. Keep playing a match as you normally would and be on the lookout for rare shotguns (blue or better). From here, you can shoot down a player and put an end to them with your rare shotgun, or simply use it to take down opponents in close quarters. After you’ve dealt 400 damage from the shotgun, you’ll complete the challenge.

Hide stealthily in the grass for 10 seconds (10)

Map of tall grass in Fortnite.

There are patches of tall grass around The Daily Bugle. The map above shows their locations. For this quest, just crouch down and hide in any of these patches for 10 seconds and you’ll earn credits for completing it. You don’t have to hide for 10 seconds in a row, but you should be able to do it easily.
