Alienware, HP, and NZXT Have Some Serious Savings

Good gaming GPUs are still selling on eBay for ridiculous sums of money, because they’re practically impossible to retail – especially for anything close to their MSRP. But if you’re willing to buy an entire prebuilt gaming PC instead, there are four specific Black Friday deals that I think deserve your attention.

RTX 3080

You can get this true 4K graphics card for just $1,611 in a typical configuration of the HP Omen 30L (GT13-1380z), paired with an AMD Ryzen 5600X and, supposedly, a tiny 8GB of RAM and A very small 256GB SSD that you’ll probably want to upgrade to later.

You won’t see that GPU or that price the first time you click the link; You’ll first need to add a $40 premium in terms of the 800W power supply, then select the RTX 3080 graphics card. To get the full discount, add coupon code HOLIDAY10 at checkout.

We saw the RTX 3080 raking in an average of $1,773 on eBay last week — just for the graphics card.

HP Omen 30L. The 25L is similar, but smaller, and without the front fan.

NZXT’s handsome $1,799 Streaming Plus PC may be more expensive than HP’s 3080 offers, but it pairs the RTX 3070 Ti with the more multitasking savvy AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU — and at 16GB/1TB it’s comparable to HP’s desktop. SSD storage doubles to quadruple RAM. Plus I think there’s a more attractive design. It’s got a 750W Gold-certified power supply and a two-year warranty.

No coupon code required here; You’ll see a price of $1799 at checkout.

NZXT’s PC comes prebuilt in the company’s own Kraken M22 case.

Two worthy options here:

  • $1,188 for the HP Omen 25L (GT12-1340m) with an AMD Ryzen 5600X, RTX 3060 Ti, a 600W PSU, and the same 8GB/256GB of RAM and storage as its bigger cousin. again, you will enter holiday10 at checkout.

  • $1,372 for the Alienware Aurora R12 A 3060 Ti, with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, and an 11th-gen Core i7-11700F. Unless you’re on a serious budget or excited about an AMD processor, I think it’s a better deal on HP, worth your money than the extra memory and storage, with a few extra cores alike. Capable processor and an easy-to-upgrade toolless chassis design. If I were in the market, this would be the one I would buy myself.

Alienware Aurora Swing is open for upgrade.
