In a nutshell: You’d be forgiven for thinking that the Epic Games Store Mega Sale was giving away its best freebie first when Borderlands 3 was giving away for free last week, but the next game – or games to be exact – is even better: from now until June. 2, you can download and save BioShock: The Collection from the store without paying a dime.

After Distribution Borderlands 3 Last week, the next free game is in the Epic Games Store Mega Sale Bioshock: The Collection. It comes with System Shock’s spiritual successor BioShock, as well as BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, and all single-player DLC and expansion packs released for the games, including Minerva’s Den and Burial At Sea.

It’s depressing that it’s been almost 15 years since the first BioShock came out and added the line “Could you?” to the gaming vocabulary. But it’s still worth going through the game, especially if you never enjoyed the first time.

The sequel to BioShock 2 brings us back to Rapture ten years after the events of the original, with the same immersive sim gameplay. While BioShock Infinite was closer to first-person shooters in many ways, it was still the best game of 2013 on Metacritic.

The three games, along with mostly great DLC and expansions, will keep you busy for hours. The collection is available until June 2 at 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET, after which the third of four free gifts will be available. The mega sale itself, which has a lot of great deals, will last until June 16th.

If you are looking for other free games, there are some great gifts at Amazon Prime Gaming next month: The still excellent Ubisoft FPS game Far Cry 4 and the point-and-click adventure game Escape from Monkey Island are just two of the ones available for free.
