- OnePlus CEO Pete Lau took the liberty of “leaking” his company’s own phone: the OnePlus Nord N200. This is a rebranding of an Oppo phone.
- As its name suggests, it is the follow-up to the Nord N100 which was launched late last year (also an Oppo rebrand). However, this time it is 5G-capable.
- The phone will land under $250 in the United States.
Usually, we see established leakers push phone renders even before their official reveal. However, today we saw a “leak” of a OnePlus phone from a more unusual channel: the company’s CEO.
Pete sat down with Lau PCMag To talk about the next budget phone in the OnePlus Nord line is known as the OnePlus Nord N200. It will be a direct follow-up to last year’s OnePlus Nord N100, which was the cheapest and least powered phone the company has ever made at the time.
How has the price of OnePlus phones changed over the years?
As one would expect, the Nord N200 doesn’t stray too far from the N100’s mold. However, Lau says it includes at least two features the N100 lacked: an FHD+ display and 5G support.
