- We have just recently seen the Honor 50 specs leak, which includes the Pro and SE models.
- No phone will be a premium flagship, even the Pro will have a mid-range chipset.
- However, these specifications look good for what you’re likely to pay for the phone. Plus, we know Google apps will be onboard!
Honor, a former subsidiary of Huawei, has had a tough time over the past two years. Although it operates mostly independently of Huawei, it still falls under that company’s umbrella. This means that the still ongoing Huawei ban Honor has been tricked.
Thankfully, Huawei sold its ownership of Honor to a different company, which allows Honor to return to the smartphone game – which includes support for Google apps. The first major release in these new circumstances is the Honor 50 series, and now we have some leaked Honor 50 specs to share (via Ishaan Agarwal) 91mobiles)
The company will officially launch these phones on June 16 next week. So we don’t have to wait long before we find out if these specs are legit. In the meantime, here’s what we know!
Honor 50 Pro Specs
The most feature-rich of the three, the Honor 50 Pro could feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED display. Under the hood, it could have a Snapdragon 778G processor, which will support 5G connection. That processor can be powered by a 4,000mAh battery that can charge an astonishing 100W (wired, apparently).

On the front, the Honor 50 Pro could sport two selfie cameras: a 32MP primary sensor and a secondary 12MP shooter. There could be four cameras on the rear side:
- 108MP /1.9 Main
- 8MP /2.2 Ultra-Wide
- 2MP Macro
- 2MP depth sensor
Agarwal believes the Honor 50 Pro to measure 163.46 x 74.66 x 8.05mm and weigh 187 grams.
Interestingly, the leaked vanilla Honor 50 specs suggest that it could be very similar to the Pro. In fact, at least in one area, it may be even better.
The Honor 50 could sport a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display, which is slightly smaller than the Pro Display. Agarwal argues that it could also have the same Snapdragon 778G processor under the hood. However, that processor may be powered by the 4,300mAh battery in the vanilla model, which is slightly larger than the Pro cell. However, it will “only” support 66W fast charging.
The Honor 50 will have only one selfie camera – a 32MP/2.2 camera. However, the rear setup will be similar to the Pro setup.
Lastly, the Honor 50 may measure 159.96 x 73.76 x 73.76mm and weigh 175 grams.
Honor 50 SE
Last but not least, we have the Honor 50 SE, which we are hearing about for the first time today. Being the cheapest of the three, it is quite different from the Honor 50 and 50 Pro specs mentioned above.

Firstly, it could feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ display, but with an LCD panel instead of OLED. The processor could be MediaTek Dimensity 900, which may not be as good as the Snapdragon CPUs of the other two models. It could also adopt the Honor 50 Pro’s 4,000mAh battery but stick with the 66W charging speed of the vanilla model.
Its lone selfie camera could be a 16MP sensor, and the rear camera could be very different from other variants. Agarwal says it could offer a triple-lens module that includes a 100MP /1.9 main, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle /2.2 lens and a 2MP ƒ/2.4 macro.
Agarwal argues that the size of the phone could be 164.73 x 75.63 x 8 mm and the weight could be 191 grams.
