If you’re a fan of the very fancy pickup truck, you’re probably getting excited about the 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 we’ve been hoping for for a while. Well, thanks to an Instagram teaser posted by GMC on Thursday, we now know the wait isn’t going to take long.
The 2022 Sierra is expected to debut on Thursday, October 21 at 5 p.m. PT, and we’ll cover that, but the teaser is giving us a little more detail first. Specifically, we’re taking a look at the new Sierra’s lighting, and it looks great with vertical LEDs on both the front and back.
Plus, we can hear what sounds like a V8, which sounds pretty obvious, because, you know, it’s a full-size truck from an American car company. If we were going to speculate wildly, we’d assume this is some flavor of the 6.2-liter pushrod engine we know and love.
GMC will be taking reservation It’s been called the coolest truck in its class, though we don’t have all the details yet, so we don’t know if there will be a submission, etc. We know GMC plans to hit the truck. Market sometime in the spring of 2022.
Keep an eye on the roadshow next week for all the details of the 2022 Sierra 1500.
