Google does not disclose details about these vulnerabilities. The company said it wants to wait until the majority of users update their browsers before publishing exactly what these flaws are and how attackers can exploit them. It also hides any information about bugs that exist in third party libraries until developers have a chance to fix them.

Google rated the remaining 23 fixes as mostly medium threats, with four as low. You can view them on Chrome 101 release notes. Chrome 101 is the second major release in a row that Google strongly encourages users to upgrade to due to security concerns.

In March Google advised users to upgrade from Chrome 99 to Chrome 100 due to a zero-day vulnerability in the browser’s JavaScript engine that allowed unauthorized code to execute. Version 100 also introduced websites with an issue that could render them unable to read user agents, as many wear equipment for double-digit browser numbers. Web developers have mostly updated their sites to accommodate the latest browser versions.
