It’s almost Ranger time, guys, but not for us.

It looks like just yesterday Ford reintroduced its Ranger midsize pickup to the US market (it actually was in 2018), and now the Blue Oval is getting ready to introduce the new Ranger. Only this time the debutant is not for the US.

The global market 2022 Ford Ranger will make its online debut on Tuesday, tonight at 11:15 p.m. PT, and you can watch the whole thing here at the roadshow as we’ll have the livestream attached in this post. It’s almost too easy.

The ROW or Rest-of-World Ranger is likely to differ from our Ranger in some ways. First, the rest of the world still buys manual transmissions, and Americans largely don’t, so it will get a three-pedal version. Also, the ROW Ranger is likely to get more engine options than ours, especially when it comes to diesel.

Luckily, powertrain choices will probably be the most important difference between our Ranger and the Ranger of the world, so it should provide a decent stealth look like the next-generation US Ranger, which is exciting enough.
