  2. Open the Wallet app.

Once your card has been validated, you can add it to Apple Watch or other devices. To set up Apple Pay on your Apple Watch, bring your phone and watch close together. Open the Apple Watch app and scroll down to select Wallet & Apple Pay. The added cards should appear automatically. Click the “Add” button to the right of the card and you will be asked to verify your card again.

To use your Apple Watch to make a purchase, double-click the side button and your card will appear. Touch the watch screen next to the card reader.

Where can I use Apple Pay?

Apple Pay can be used with more than 85% of outlets in the US, says Apple. This means that any place with contactless payment options is fine.

You can also use Apple Pay online. If Apple Pay is available, you’ll see it on the checkout screen. Just click “Buy with Apple Pay” and confirm the payment using Face ID, passcode, Touch ID, or double-click the side button on your Apple Watch.
