wall jumping is much easier metroid dread in comparison super metroid. The key is to make sure Samus does flips in the air – a standard jump won’t work. To do this, make sure you’re running before pressing NS to jump if you press NS Without first moving in any direction, you’ll just make a standard jump without flipping. run or walk towards the wall and then press NS To jump and you will start flipping towards it.
Once you are touching the wall, move your stick in the opposite direction, and press NS To jump once again from the wall to the other side. If timed right, you’ll launch from the first wall to the next wall. Keep moving the stick left and right by pressing continuously NS To jump back and forth between them. Initially, underwater wall jumping is not possible. That is until you gain access to the Gravity Suit, which is unlocked about 50% of the way through the game.
