for the most part, kirby The franchise remains a 2D side-scrolling affair, but that’s about to change with the upcoming Kirby and the Forgotten Land, possibly the most ambitious kirby Released to date, Switch exclusive Kirby and the Forgotten Land is finally transitioning the franchise into the 3D platformer space, and the gameplay footage released for it has been pretty promising so far.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land The trailers have fans excited about how well Kirby’s gameplay features are being translated from 2D to 3D. latest trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land No Exception is met with positive feedback from the community as many fans comment on the colorful art style and how Kirby’s various copy abilities may affect gameplay. The latest trailer also confirmed a brand new facility in the form of a local cooperative.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land There’s co-op support for up to two players, as revealed by the latest Kirby and the Forgotten Land Trailer. Nintendo is now watching fans even closer Kirby and the Forgotten Land Co-op mode with a quartet of screenshots that show co-op in action.
The first screenshot shows Kirby standing with the bandana Waddle D, with the first player controlling Kirby and the second player controlling Waddle D, not unlike how co-op has worked in some past kirby Video game. The other three screenshots show Kirby and Waddle D fighting off enemies, Kirby using copy abilities to take out enemies and Waddle D using his signature spear.
Since Waddle D can’t absorb enemies, he won’t have as much functionality as Kirby, but he should still be fun enough to play as the game launches for a cooperative companion. He’ll definitely be more involved than Bowser Jr. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, where the second player was severely limited compared to the first.
It has to be seen how the fans react to this Kirby and the Forgotten LandWhen they actually got their hands on it, but what’s shown so far has been pretty impressive. Kirby and the Forgotten Land Definitely one of the biggest Nintendo Switch exclusive games to launch in 2022, and while it remains to be seen whether it’s going to live up to the hype, it seems like there’s plenty of momentum behind it so far.
