PS4 version of LittleBigPlanet 3 has suddenly become the most important sport in little Big Planet Voting. This is because Sony has shut down the servers of many old titles.
little Big Planet 3, the adorable platforming/level-creating game developed by Sumo Digital, is the third title in the series launched by Media Molecules. It’s been a tough year for the series because little Big PlanetIts servers suffered a DDoS attack in March, which Sony responded by temporarily shutting down the servers. The problem was eventually resolved, but a series of persistent attacks resulted in Sony shutting down servers indefinitely while attempting to fix the problem. These attacks shut down practically every playable form, not just a game little Big Planet, since the games share servers, so is being able to import old levels into new titles.
A new tweet from the official little Big Planet The Twitter account confirms that several games have been permanently discontinued. While once there was no fix in sight little Big Planet Servers, Sony released an update to bring PlayStation 4 servers back online, making its more than 10 million user-created levels playable once again. This news is unfortunately associated with the announcement that for online services little Big Planethandjob LittleBigPlanet 2handjob LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS3), and little Big Planet PS Vita all to be discontinued permanently. Sony believes it’s “the best way to protect little Big Planet community and to help ensure that our online environment remains secure.”
Naturally, many fans are upset by the news, especially because of its sudden nature. The server shutdown means fans can no longer create new levels and are expected to share them online in any of the titles mentioned earlier. Fortunately, the content players have already created since that time will not be lost, and is still playable. LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS4. Given that there were already over 6 million user created levels LittleBigPlanet 2 Shortly after its launch in 2012, more than half of the playables currently are owned by those original players.
It is really unfortunate the way this chain of events has played out. While previously created levels are not lost, those games have the ability to build levels. For many fans who were still actively working on projects before the servers were shut down, they suddenly lost all their work. It’s easy to blame Sony for the lack of warnings, but at the same time, it didn’t realize it was shutting down servers the last time it addressed its attacks. Though Sackboy’s adventures continue Sackboy: A Big Adventure And LittleBigPlanet 3A part of their history has certainly been lost today.
