This holiday season is shaping up to be a busy one, with both global chip shortages and general shipping delays causing many headaches. But Maingear is offering a way to address at least one of your Christmas worries.
Maingear will be offering Christmas deliveries on some of its already discounted gaming rigs that include Nvidia GeForce 30 series graphics cards. Discounted PCs include the Maingear Vybe with the RTX 3060 Ti and the Vybe with the RTX 3070. Element Lite laptops with Intel Core i5 and i7, as well as the Maingear Forma gaming chair, are also available for Christmas delivery.
Maingear is primarily known for its custom high-end gaming PCs and laptops, although it is also known for a luxury bitcoin mining PC it released several years ago. That said, although the price may be a bit high, it is well worth the price of admission for a professional construction job and a lifetime support and labor warranty.
Of course ordering now is important, and even the official site cautions shoppers to shop early due to worldwide shipping delays.
Analysis: Why pre-builds are king right now
In general, many computer experts recommend building your own gaming PC, as the price is much cheaper than paying for a pre-built one. However, chip shortages have led to a lack of availability and a huge increase in market prices for GPUs and even CPUs.
As such, many high-end chips are not available to the average buyer unless purchased in a pre-build. Maingear PCs are particularly well built and well worth the steep prices for one if you can afford it. Otherwise, other companies like Dell offer their own pre-builds.
