There can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Minecraft Still going strong, still as popular today as it was when it was released 10 years ago. With sales of the Mojang-produced blocky game dropping by 200 million last year, it’s hardly surprising that it’s become one of the biggest titles in recent gaming history. Much of that longevity can be attested to the community, which, with all its creative creations, keeps things ticking. Recently, a fan posted an image of some Marine they’ve managed to make in-game.

image was uploaded Minecraft subreddit, and showcases user nrgmix’s skill at building huge, complex structures. In this case, they’ve built a huge ship, specifically one that looks like a pirate ship that the manufacturer calls “L’Ariadel”, which, according to Google Translate, means “air” or “wind”. The edited image shows the ship looking impressive on the high seas, battling hard waves as the birds fly above.

People in the thread left praising comments, with the top post insisting that the image could become one of them. MinecraftIn-game painting, with its pixel art style and bright colors. Some others wondered whether NRGmix had used any construction equipment to help complete the ship. Editing software is quite common Minecraft, and is often used in many large-scale constructions, such as those using Worldedit which has been used in the construction of massive constructions such as the ambitious star wars Project. Another commenter actually doubted whether the image was of the original poster, but a quick Google search put that theory to rest, which goes on to show just how impressive it is.

The ship’s builder neither confirmed nor denied that he used WorldEdit or any other tool, but did say that he created the image in Photoshop. He then posted a link to another series of images, showing each stage of construction, including the water and the ground below. While there are guides that tell people how to build a boat Minecraft, nrgmix’s contribution takes it to many magnitudes by producing something with impressive size as well as spectacular detail.

The fan base is a honeypot of creativity, something users spend years on their Minecraft projects. The game’s construction mechanics and sandbox gameplay turn the game into a blank canvas in which NRGmix and others can dedicate their free time to some of the most amazing structures, some of which leave the community in awe. It remains to be seen what the players come up with next.
