In 2018, Instagram added one of its most popular features, which allows users to add music to their stories. Users can search the app for a library of music by popular artists and add a snippet of the song to their story, along with a sticker showing either the artist and song title, or the lyrics.
Adding ringtones to your story is as easy as adding any other Instagram stickers. Here is a step by step guide to add music to an Instagram story post.

How to Add Music to an Instagram Story
Post to your story by tapping your profile photo in the story bar at the top of the feed, or by swiping left.
After uploading a photo or video, tap the sticker icon (smiley face) in the upper right corner.
Select the MUSIC sticker.
Find the song you want to add.
After selecting a song, you can choose which part (from five to 15 seconds) of the song to play. You can also choose to have an album image on the sticker along with the artist, song title, or lyrics.
Adjust where you want the sticker to appear in the post.
Professional advice: You can slide the sticker off the edge of the screen if you don’t want it to appear in your post. But, with or without a sticker, the song and artist name will appear at the top of the story once it’s posted.
