T-Mobile — which has a “Netflix on Us” promotion that gives its customers deep discounts for Netflix service if they run their Netflix billing through T-Mobile — said it isn’t dropping the discount. However, it did not say whether it is passing on the price hike to its customers, or if it will eat up the difference.
“Before Today,” T-Mobile Said on your press site, “Netflix has introduced its new pricing structure. Rest assured, your Netflix is still on us! The Netflix benefit included in your plan remains on us. If you have upgraded your Netflix on us (eg. , Standard or Premium), you’ll notice that Netflix’s price changes will begin on your T-Mobile bill as soon as their changes take effect.
