The USA TODAY Tech section is designed to promote discussion and the gaming community, its impact on people across communities, and advice on how to have more fun with your favorite games! We’re looking for broad appeal, player insights, new information, tips and tricks, first-person game experiences, a fresh take on games or game culture, or lists of your favorite/disliked game elements.

Please include a short biography, no more than two sentences, at the end of your column. If you, or a company, trade group, or other institution with which you are associated, derives financial or other benefit from your column, you must disclose that information to us in detail. In most cases, it should also be included in the body of the work or in the author’s curriculum vitae.

We do not publish open letters, cool projects, or materials sent to multiple sources.

Columns are accepted for online publication. Print publication is not guaranteed. All columns published by USA TODAY are available for use in print and online by over 260 other newspapers in the USA TODAY network. These include Bergen County (New Jersey), Burlington (Vermont), Cincinnati, Des Moines, Detroit, El Paso, Indianapolis, Louisville, Memphis, Milwaukee, Nashville, Phoenix, Reno, Tallahassee and Wilmington (DeLove).

Authors may publish their columns elsewhere 48 hours after they are published in USA TODAY. By submitting a column to USA TODAY and agreeing to its publication, the authors grant exclusive rights to this article to the USA TODAY network for 48 hours, and then non-exclusive rights.
