In the 1990s, real-time strategy titles were practically a major part of PC gaming. Even today, the RTS genre is enjoyed by many. Earlier this year, ‘GentleMad Studios’ Endzone: A World Apart Early Access left on Steam, and has since become an award-winning title. Now, the game’s latest expansion, Prosperity, is on the horizon.
Coming to Steam and GOG this October, Prosperity will add new elements to Endzone: A World Apart, such as new materials and buildings, and new challenges. The publisher describes this DLC as allowing players to take a little breather, giving them a chance to “really enjoy life”. With that, the developer has added in some great items, such as baths and cool ales.
In the DLC trailer, the narrator says that the team listened to the fan base, coming up with ideas for a more “comfortable experience” to play, perhaps steering it away from being one of the more difficult RTS games. Prosperity It also adds some major construction elements, such as water pumps to supply water to settlements, as well as new production sites, such as a sand mine and a concrete factory.
Original end zone is more than just a classic RTS game like warcraft Or command and Conquer; It is a survival sim in which players are tasked with building settlements in harsh and unforgiving environments. Toxic rain, sandstorms, and radiation all plague the environment making it a challenging sport that requires schools, farms, and other things to be built to allow populations to grow and survive. Prosperity Takes those aspects and allows for a more secure form of life, such as by incorporating coffee, soap, and cake to make life in this world more bearable.
Montage Entertainment, who have also worked on publishing modern versions of it Leisure Suits Larry Games, says the DLC is due out on PC on October 21st. The company also states that just because Prosperity While the focus will be on a more lavish gameplay style, it doesn’t mean that Dangers will be removed from the base game. However, it looks like the developer has taken steps to make the overall RTS experience a little more manageable for players.
