The latest issues to come with the patch, released on October 6th, however, seem to be the final straw for more than a few players.

Blizzard is trying to fix the issues that began after the company patched the game for consoles on October 6. The patch was created as a means to fix some issues with the game’s online component, but Blizzard’s “fix” seems to have done more harm than good. With issues this serious still giving the title 3 weeks to launch, it provided players with a good reason to review the bomb. Diablo 2: Resurrected.
Players did not take kindly to Blizzard’s efforts to fix the title and even went so far as to create the hashtag #RefundD2R. A specific tweet from Blizzard upset fans when the company tweeted, “Today’s login and game creation issues have been resolved. Thank you for your continued patience and apologies for any inconvenience caused,” when in fact Some players were still unable to login. Diablo 2: Resurrected There have been similar issues since launch, so it seems some fans are losing their patience.
Blizzard responded to a Twitter user by saying that the company understands the players’ frustration, but is unfortunately unable to offer anyone a refund. Other players on Reddit claimed that Blizzard declined their requests for a refund because they played the game for too long.
When Blizzard First Advertised Diablo 2: Resurrected It bragged about the improvements made to the game compared to the original but unfortunately the remake brought with it a number of different issues.
