The massive Part Two update to indie destruction game Teardown is launching next month on December 2.
The latest Teardown Part Two trailer was revealed today, November 24, via a video posted to developer Dennis Gustafsson. Youtube channel, It was here that the new release date for the upcoming update was first announced in October after it first surfaced last month.
The trailer gives us a great look at some of the new places we’ll be visiting, and the enemies we’ll face. The Part Two update to Teardown will feature some sort of sentry robot roaming a security compound, and there will also be a brand new tropical island getaway, which we can see teased near the conclusion of the new trailer.
For those unaware, this Part Two update to the teardown really brings an end to the main story of the game. The base game, which has been out via early access on Steam since late 2020, saw the player character plotting a heist using the highly detailed destructible environment surrounding him, and now part two of this The story is about to end.
If you’re a big fan of chaotic destruction games, don’t worry, because developer Tuxedo Labs hasn’t worked with Teardown yet. Although Part Two is ending the campaign, Tuxedo Labs will be rolling out more additions and improvements to Teardown in the near future, so if you’re particularly enjoying the game that takes experiments to a whole new level, plenty is yet to come.
