So some thoughts: Battlefield 2014 looks like a spiritual successor to Battlefield 4, especially if “Levolution” returns with a destructible atmosphere.

The footage shows the frenzied battles ranging from promoting grunts on the ground to taking to the skies in next-gen fighter jets.

Given the kit soldiers are carrying, we can probably expect a suite of guns and a lot of player/class customization in the near future.

The robot dog looks great, as does a Boston Dynamics spot given a machine gun and a military paint job.

Ultimately, we’d have liked to see some fair game footage and more story details, but we’ll have to wait for that. But Battlefield 2042 looks like an exciting new entry in the long-running series.

And that’s the end of Revelations, officially called Battlefield 2042.

Sadly, there is no actual game footage. But it will apparently happen on June 13th, so there’s only a few days to wait. Oh and that will be when E3 2021 takes place as well as the Future Games Show summer showcase.

Another small piece appears to indicate a pending conflict between the US and Russia. We think it is about depleting resources for both the countries.

We keep hearing voice-over excerpts in the countdown video; It seems that displaced people and soldiers will have “no country left to fight”.

Our friends at GamesRadar have a report on some last-minute Battlefield 6 leaks. The Info Drop details a new expert system to replace the class system in previous games, as well as noting the story includes a near-future setting where the US and Russia are “on the brink of war.”

We expect tank and aerial combat, as well as some frantic run-and-gun action. At least that’s going from leaked Battlefield 6 gameplay screenshots.

There is now only 30 minutes or more left before the next Battlefield game is shown. Expect to see PS5 and Xbox Series X gameplay.
