The Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather Jr fight is already trending on Twitter.

Logan Paul has been leaving some tweets about the incident. To be honest, I think it’s a huge publicity stunt for dude, and you really can’t blame him. The fact that he made this fight a reality… wild.

Jake Paul, who is Fighting former UFC champion Tyron Woodley later this year, had to say …

Now it’s as good as any time to make a prediction in the ether…

Logan Paul doesn’t have a chance. Size matters in boxing, but not in grappling or MMA. While there have been very few multi-division champions in the UFC, it is far more common for boxing champions to gain weight and beat bigger men.

I don’t think Logan will be able to put the glove on Paul Floyd. simple as that. He is arguably the best defensive boxer in history. The only wild card here is fighting someone dramatically less skilled than someone he’s used to. Does this change the type of punches Paul throws? Is it messing with time? It is possible. But I see Logan Paul getting excited, trying to hit Mayweather with a big shot, and then getting tired very quickly. We’ll probably see that a TKO is the 5th or 6th round.

pre show

This is completely different from the last Jake Paul fight produced by Triller Fight Club. There is no Snoop Dogg like a wild man, no Oscar de la Hoya. It feels like a more sober, traditional boxing event. They even have Mauro Ranallo! love this guy. He has commented on everything from boxing to wrestling to MMA.

It’s just a better product. Or maybe I’m just too old to understand the appeal of the Triller.

It is interesting to see Ranalo fully setting the expectations for it. He is talking about being the promoter and entertainer of Logan Paul. He knows what most reasonable people know: This fight is a pretty freaky freak show incident and Paul has no chance here.

Chad Johnson vs Brian Maxwell

Chad Johnson was quick in the opening round, but lost in the fourth.

This is the other “celebrity” boxing match on the cards.

Chad Johnson is a former NFL star and Brian Maxwell is a former MMA fighter. Despite being a huge fan of MMA, I’ve never heard of Maxwell, most likely because he had a 2-3 record and never came close to any major promotions.

It sounds like a set-up battle for Johnson, but who can tell. These crazy fights can go either way.

round 1

Some wild exchanges there. Chad Johnson had the best with some precision, Difficult shots, but seemed a little tired in the spots?

Second Round

Forgot to mention that MMA legend Jorge Masvidal is in Johnson’s corner! Very good.

Johnson is accurate with these shots man. Laser jabs, some great straight shots. Another round for Johnson for me.

round 3

Maxwell came out strongly in this round, introducing wild exchanges and loopy shots. Johnson absolutely looks like he’s starting to get tired here. It could be messy.

Round 4

Wow. Maxwell dismisses Johnson with a full ripper of a right hook. He backs up and survives the rest of the round. Luckily it’s a 4 round fight or it could have been tough for Johnson there.

Everything is a really interesting fight. Johnson started off smartly with Jobs, but quickly got tired. Since this is an exhibition, no winner will be announced. In fact, the battle was close.

Great to start.

Jarrett Heard vs Luis Ariaso

Jarrett injured in better times. He lost in a split decision tonight.

This is the first of two valid boxing matches on this card. Curious to see how it goes.

round 1

Great start for Arias here, a lot of heavy shots, especially in the first two minutes. Hurd did better when he took the initiative and went ahead, landing some clean tight uppercuts at close range. Fun first round.

Our Score: 10-9 Area

Second Round

Weird start with it raining on the canvas and Arias sliding off? Wild. This can be a problem for all fights going forward. And then they had problems restarting the clock?

Great round here, both the fighters throw heavy leather. Arias was hitting big shots that Hurd felt right Walk Through this. Every time Heard landed, however, he appeared to be doing damage.

That said, Arias landed a big shot in the final 30 seconds that appeared to stagger Hurd. Incredible 3 minute fight.

Our Score: 10-9 Area

round 3

Hurd is just taking heaps of punishment here, Arias being bullied and throwing nothing but just power shots. However, Heard appears to be wearing it well, and when they finally break up, he is seen descending from the outside.

Our Score: 10-9 Area

Round 4

Here’s a better round for Heard, but Arias still takes it for me. His right hook from inside cannot easily be released.

Our Score: 10-9 Area

round 5

It is taking the form of a war of escape. It’s hard to score, Heard probably has the best round, so I’ll give it to him.

Our score: 10-9 herd

round 6

Arias hit big shots in this round but it started to look really tired. At points Heard was just able to walk him down. Heard can potentially handle this fight for the rest of the round.

Our score: 10-9 herd

round 7

There were two low strikes from Heard in one round, but it was difficult to score. Again I’m giving it to Heard, who went ahead and got the biggest shock.

Our score: 10-9 herd

round 8

Big round for Arias who brought crisp, sharp combinations from the inside. Heard was feeling exhausted at the last minute, which allowed Arias to really take the initiative. This fight has been great so far.

Our Score: 10-9 Area

round 9

The round begins with a Flash knockdown for Arias, who protests. I’ll have to see the replay. He gets furious at the call and starts yelling at Heard, clearly winning the rest of the round.

Our Score: 9-9

round 10

What a round! Arias and Heard are just smacking each other here and Arias seems to be getting the best of it, legally hurting Heard for the first time in the fight. Heard appears to knock Arias down as the bell rings, but it doesn’t score.

I’m scoring it for Arias.

Our Score: 10-9 Area

Our final score: 96-93

Official Score: Split decision 95-94 Hurd, 97-93 Arias, 96-93 Arias.

Badou Jack vs Darwin Colina

Badoo Jack is back.

Badoo Jack is stuck here with a last-minute replacement after his previous rival, Jean Pascal, tests positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Jack is heavily backed against replacement Colina, but who knows what happens?

round 1

Badou Jack comes out strong with a lightning-fast jab, but hits Colina early with a low blow. There isn’t much activity here than at Colina.

Clear round for Jack here.

Our score: 10-9 Jack

Second Round

One point taken from Colina for being caught, and Jack is extremely aggressive. Colina’s late counter is not enough to make a detour here.

Our score: 10-8 Jacks

round 3

one more Point to hold for Colina, who looks completely out of her depth here. Colina is hurt and holds on to Jack to recover. Then the late rush from Colina is not enough. Jack is running.

Our score: 10-8 Jacks

Round 4

Colina hits the canvas twice in the first minute, completely overwhelmed by Jack. Then, in the last second of the round, the third and final time is knocked down. Very poor performance from Colina, even as a last minute replacement.

Jack Badou won by TKO
