Marvel’s Secret Invasion show: Everything we know so far

The Skrulls Are Coming to Marvel’s Secret Assault

Marvel’s Secret Invasion just got even more star-studded. One of several upcoming Marvel Disney Plus shows, Secret Invasion is now adding an actor we’ve loved to hate from our ranks until recently at the top of the Queen (and Mother of Dragons).

Based on what we know, Marvel’s Secret Invasion sounds a little more wild than the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but not quite as weird as WandaVision. And, in a way, it means a lot to this particular show.

The whole premise is about something we don’t know, as a great mysterious force infiltrates Earth, and only Nick Fury and his friend Talos can help. Don’t know Talos? Well, now is a great time to turn on Disney Plus and watch (or re-watch) Captain Marvel. That way, you’ll be able to tell a Skrull from a Kree, and be prepared for what’s next in the MCU.

For the sake of the show’s pedigree, Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot) is on board to write and serve as executive producer. The show is set to enter production in the UK and Europe this fall.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion Plot

Yes, the shape-shifting alien race known as the Skrulls—which you may have first learned watching while watching Captain Marvel—are back, and they’ve risen to a position of great power. And we’ll need Skrull’s help to take them down.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion reunites Nick Fury with the friendly intergalactic Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) to take out the Skrulls who have fooled humanity. We’re guessing there will be a substantial amount of espionage, but we’re expecting big cameos from famous people who have always been Skrulls.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion release date speculation

Like the force of the Skrulls the show focuses on, Marvel’s secret invasion is sneaking up on us (for now). It’s going to be filming in the summer of 2021, so we hope to see it in autumn 2022 as soon as possible.

Other Disney Plus unreleased shows are:

  • Hawkeye
  • Ms. Marvel
  • Loki Season 2
  • armor war
  • I’m Groot
  • iron Heart

And on April 20, Deadline broke the news of Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) joining the series.

Everyone I know and Whatever I’m talking about. Who’s part of the Marvel universe – and actors talk! Everyone only has the highest praise to offer. There’s a reason actors stay in it. They’re loved because they’re having so much fun That’s why I’m down for him. Sure!”

Christopher Macdonald (Happy Gilmore) is the latest addition to Covert Assault, and when asked by The Movie Dwebb for any hints, he exclaims “He’s alive!” When asked if he was going to be Spider-Man foe Norman Osborne, he simply said “No, I’m not saying anything.” In the same interview, he revealed that the series will start filming in August 2021.

The other casting news is that Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami) is expected to play the show’s villain.
