Shin Megami Tensei V release date accidentally leaked by Atlus

Shin Megami Tensei Wo It looks like it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 11th. Looks like the release date has been leaked by mistake official japanese website For Shin Megami Tensei Wo.

Shin Megami Tensei is a long-running Japanese role-playing game series by Atlus that is actually the predecessor to its hit series, Persona. Many of the games in the series are considered cult classics, including the recently remastered, Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturnal.

The game’s website was accidentally updated with information detailing the release date, gameplay and story. Personality Central, Joe Central originally caught the leak, notes that a November 11 launch is expected worldwide, despite only appearing on the game’s Japanese website.

The leaked description states that the main character of the game will be a high school student who wanders in the desert world full of demons named “Dath”. They become involved with a mysterious man and refuse to be called “Nabino”. It takes the protagonist into the middle of a battle between gods and demons… a standard case for the world of Shin Megami Tensei.

The game will reportedly feature more than 200 monsters, including new and new creations created by longtime character designer Masayuki Doi for the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series.

Like the SMT titles before it, the gameplay involves the protagonist moving through this new world using his new demonic powers and assembling a party of monsters to assist him. The leaked details note that the game will have multiple endings like previous games in the series.

A limited edition was also confirmed by leaks, but it is not known whether it will be released outside Japan.
