A new Motorola smartwatch has been leaked online ahead of its anticipated launch in the form of renders and specs of the Moto Watch 100. CE Brands, The current owner of the Motorola-branded smartwatch has already said that it has completed work on the Moto Watch 100, which is touted to be an affordable offering.
The latest development comes from 91mobiles, The publication has shared renders and alleged specs of the upcoming Moto Watch 100. It flaunts a circular display with a minimalist design. The right edge appears to have two buttons with a metallic finish, while the watch body may have a matte finish. From the renders, it may appear that the Moto Watch 100 may have a rotating bezel, but the report says that the device will not have that feature.
The Moto Watch 100 is said to feature a 1.3-inch circular LCD with 360-by-360-pixel resolution. It measures 42mm by 46mm by 11.9mm and weighs 29 grams, making it Motorola’s lightest smartwatch. The smartwatch is rumored to pack a 355mAh battery. It may offer Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity instead of Bluetooth 5.2 found on the latest wearable devices. It is still unknown whether the smartphone will run Google’s new WearOS. The Moto Watch 100 can run a real-time operating system as it is said to be an entry-level device.
The upcoming Motorola smartwatch may feature heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, HRM, SP02 sensor and ambient light sensor. It is said to offer sleep tracking and step counter. There is no information on the number of sports modes that will be available on the device. It is likely to be launched in the next few weeks. Two more smartwatches from the Motorola brand are expected to be launched by the end of March 2022.
