The next big emoji update could include moose, goose, pink heart, and wireless sign.

Shortly before world emoji day On Sunday we will see new emojis that we will be able to use on our phones in a few months. Men in emoticons compiled a preview of selected representations in Emoji 15.0, which includes, among other things, a pushing hand, a shaking face (or I was SHOCKED), an elk, a goose, long awaited pink heart, and a Wi-Fi/wireless icon (finally!).

Emojipedia reports that these drafts will be approved by the Unicode Consortium in September, but some of them may not make the list. The new project also includes gray and blue hearts, a folding fan, ginger, a pea pod, a jellyfish, maracas and a flute.

Once the final list is ready, software platforms such as iOS and Android will release them in a future update. Therefore, we may have to wait a while before we can use them. Also, since the Emojipedia illustrations are drafts, we may see some emoji adopt different final avatars when deployed to end users.

“Based on recent years, the final draft is likely to resemble this draft list. This means that no new emoji will be added at this stage, although there is a small chance that the draft emoji will be changed or removed before September,” Emojipedia said in a post.

The organization noted that the number of emoji submitted for approval has decreased over the year. While this year’s Emoji 15.0 draft includes 31 candidates, last year’s draft had 112 candidates belonging to Emoji 14.0. All this is dwarfed by the 334 emoji sent between Emoji 13.0 and Emoji 13.1. This is officially the lowest number of emojis ever recommended. He also noted that for the first time, there are no people emojis in the draft.
