As we continue to track the best Black Friday deals for PC gaming through continued chip crunches, it’s clear that the best way to get a shiny new graphics card right now is by buying an entire RTX 3080 gaming PC like this one. Is. It’s not the ideal way for many people to upgrade their personal rig, but with prices lower than they have been throughout the year, it’s time to take action on a deal like this HP Omen 30L GT13-0380t. For $2,220, you get: an RTX 3080, Intel Core i7-10700K 3.8GHz, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD.

Technically, this Omen starts at a prebuilt low of $2,070, but the default configuration comes with 8GB of RAM and a smaller 256GB SSD. If you want to flex the 3080’s capabilities, you’ll be quickly hampered by minimal RAM and a drive that can’t even hold two copies of Call of Duty: Warzone. To get value for your money, we recommend a 16GB RAM upgrade and (at least) a 512GB SSD.

Otherwise, the Omen can be configured with more powerful components, more storage, and a few other bells and whistles like security plans and WiFi 6 support on the store page. Heck, if you’re ready to burn another $850, you might as well put a 3090 in there.

This HP prebuilt is one of the best deals we’ve seen so far on an absolutely RTX 3080 machine that can play basically anything you can throw at it out of the box. This configurable PC starts at a low price on the website, but we recommend the specifications listed above for a rig that can keep up with the powerful graphics card that comes with it.

I wish the prebuilt one I just bought was configurable before checkout. I’m running newer games like Battlefield 2042, Forza Horizon 5, and Halo Infinity on an RTX 3060 with 16GB of RAM, and I’m already planning an upgrade to 32GB. I like this Omen case even more than the Lenovo I ended up with, but can In The fan’s LEDs light up with pastel rainbow colors like mine? (Maybe, but it seems that by default it fluctuates through one color at a time).

The only rub is that, if you want more than 90 days of HP’s complimentary on-phone tech support, you’ll get two or three years of access starting at an additional $328, or another $ for six months of warranty plans. 58 will have to be spent.
