Rumor mill: The Nvidia RTX 4000 series is getting closer every day, which means the internet is filled with leaks, rumors, and pure speculation. The final set of alleged specs are for the RTX 4070 Ti, a card that will presumably be so powerful that it “could easily match the RTX 3090 Ti.”

Ada Lovelace’s latest leak comes from a familiar source: prolific Twitter user Kopite7kimi. They claim that the RTX 4070 Ti will feature a full-fledged AD104 GPU and be so powerful that it can match Ampere’s current flagship, the RTX 3090 Ti.

Built on TSMC’s N4 technology node, this AD104 GPU is said to have 7680 CUDA cores or 60 SM blocks, 30 billion transistors, and up to 160 ROPs. We also expect the RTX 4070 Ti to feature 48MB of L2 cache and 12GB of 21Gb/s GDDR6X memory on a 192-bit bus for a maximum bandwidth of 504GB/s.

As we’ve seen in just about every Lovelace leak, the RTX 4070 Ti is also a power hungry card. The claimed 400W TDP is not far from the RTX 3090 Ti’s 450W TDP.
