Wonka has begun shooting across the UK, as fans watch Timothée Chalamet filming in picturesque locations like Lime Regis and the car park in front of the Gamesradar+ office.
OK, technically Chalamet isn’t filming in the car park, but the unmistakable blue van she was in recently seen sitting on It is currently cooling off along the Avon River in Bath in Lyme Regis.
Elsewhere in town, Team GR was able to spot an old-timey car – which appears to be a replica of the car we saw with the Blue Van – parked in the square outside the abbey, with snow all over the ground. and which means we can make a pretty good guess what time of year this scene will be set.
That doesn’t mean Chalamet isn’t in Bath. In fact, a die-hard group of fans managed to snap a photo of the young actor going to film a scene near Bath’s historic (and to be fair, aptly Wonka-esque) abbey.

While we curse our luck not seeing the Little Women star where we usually get lunch, we’ll console ourselves with the fact that there’s a seriously talented cast and crew behind Wonka. Paddington director Paul King is working on a script he co-wrote with Simon Farnby about how the young chocolatier discovers oompha-loompas. The film is set for release in 2023, and will also star Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Keegan Michael-Key and Rowan Atkinson.
Of course, if you want to catch a glimpse of it earlier, just head over to Bath city center before the day ends.
Well, instead of going to Bath, you can just catch best netflix shows.
