SPOILERS: This story contains the answer to Wordle 284 for Wednesday, March 30th.
wordle provided a rare moment in the life of the popular word game: a daily two-answer puzzle.
It has become a daily ritual since January, with Wordle fans solving a daily puzzle that requires players to correctly guess a five-letter word in six attempts.
Once completed, these players copy their scores and share them on social media so others can see how they performed.
In the case of Wordle 284, these results ended in two different words.

For many players, they got the word FURNACE. However, several others ended up with HARRY’s last word.
Merriam-Webster the dictionary defines Harry as “to make a robbery or a destructive raid” or “to make one move by disturbing”.
Several players have taken to social media to try and figure out what happened.
“Does anyone else have a harry for their word? None of my friends have and I’m going crazy,” one user @teegs1D tweeted.
Why are there two Wordle answers
In a statement to USA TODAY, The New York Times confirmed that Wordle had two responses on Wednesday.
“In an effort to make the puzzle more accessible, we are revisiting solutions and removing obscure or potentially insensitive words over time,” Jordan Cohen, executive director of communications for The New York Times, said in a statement.
Cohen said players should update the website they play Wordle on to make sure it’s in sync with the updated version.
