World of Warships gets spooky in time for Halloween

It’s that time of year when candy-hungry kids and aging goths look forward to: Halloween. Along with the Chocolate and Ghost Tour comes the traditional World of Warship update, which adds spooky new game modes and some old favourites.

The October update for World of Warships includes a new temporary battle mode, Twilight Hunt, which lets 16 players team up against live and AI opponents and attempt to destroy the Twilight Fleet led by the infamous (and possibly haunted) battleship Rasputin. The update also sees a host of new German battleships hitting the game in early access. There are new BBs from Tier III to IX, equipped with super precise main guns and a slew of consumables to give captains an edge over enemy fighters. Individual challenges let players work through a series of missions; With each victory you advance to the next challenge, earning coal and German tokens along the way, which lets you unlock ships in early access, as well as a selection of camouflage patterns and flags.
